Weekly Wrap Up: The One with the Giant Spider, Bunny Sightings, and the Slow March to School

Ah, another week in the bag, folks! And what a week it’s been. Let’s dive into the highlights (and lowlights) of my wonderfully chaotic life, shall we?

The Arachnid Apocalypse 🕷️

First up, we had a surprise visitor—an enormous spider that decided to string a web from the side of the house all the way to David’s workshop. I’m talking a full-on, eight-legged acrobat with dreams of architecture. Now, I’m not saying it was big enough to star in its own horror movie, but let’s just say I’m considering giving it its own zip code.

The Great Post Office Adventure 📦

This week also saw a trip to the post office to mail out our Patreon packages. Nothing too dramatic, but you know how it goes—what should have been a quick in-and-out turned into a full-blown journey through the underworld, complete with long lines and the realization that I forgot to bring a pen to fill out the forms - Looking at you, Colleen.

Back-to-School Shenanigans 🎒

Speaking of epic journeys, school is almost back in session. Despite it not starting until Tuesday, the teachers have already gone into overdrive with emails and texts. I get it, they’re excited... but hey, let me savor these last few days of not having to deal with it! Oh, and the kids' school computers? Yep, still untouched. Apparently, I’m living on the edge.

A Bunny and My Feet: The Unlikely Duo 🐇

On a more positive note, I spotted a bunny in the yard during one of my walks this week. And—miracle of miracles—I managed not to trip over the pavement! Progress, my friends. Progress.

Coworking Streams and Spooky Season 👻

We kept the momentum going with coworking streams every weekday. It’s like a virtual office without the annoying smell of someone microwaving fish. And, let’s not forget—it’s officially September, which means the countdown to Halloween has begun. Spooky Season is here, people! Time to embrace the pumpkins, ghosts, and questionable amounts of candy.

So there you have it—the week in a nutshell. Or a spider web. Or a bunny burrow. You get the idea. Here’s to surviving another week and gearing up for whatever fresh chaos the next one will bring!

Stay spooky, stay safe, and maybe don’t walk under any giant webs.
